Publishing Changes To Your App

This article is a clear oversight to help you understand when to publish a new version of your app, publish changes and what content updates automatically. With AppPresser, we want you to make the changes you need and push the changes to your apps.

  • Content Changes or Updates to settings inside of a plugin or theme, On Your WordPress Site, will be shown automatically. There's nothing you need to do any further.

The changes will appear inside of your application. You may need to clear your caching plugins or server cache. However, nothing on the AppPresser side of things needs to happen.

  • Any changes to Settings inside of the My AppPresser App Customizer, settings inside of the My AppPresser App Dashboard or CUSTOM HTML PAGES - require a new app version to be published.

This includes changes to settings inside of the My AppPresser like App Features, Icon image changes and metadata. This also includes changes to settings inside of the App Customizer like Enable Media Playback, GeoLocation, Camera, Translation settings, Custom Javascript and Miscellaneous Options.

  • Any changes to Page content, menu items and Custom CSS inside of the My AppPresser App Customizer - require you to click on the Publish Changes button located inside of the App Customizer > Build & Preview Tab. This will push those changes to your app without releasing a new version of the app.

You do not need to push a new version of the app due to fixing punctuation, adding images/new content or making css changes. However, those changes do need to be Published for those to appear.

Build and Preview Tab is located inside of your My AppPresser Dashboard > App Customizer
