App Metadata

The App Metadata tab is an important part of the AppPresser ecosystem. Many of the build processes rely on the information. Changing this information does not change your app store listing. overall. However, some of the data is required to be up to date or above a specific number to submit updated apps to stores.

The App Version and Build Number are extremely important to each build release. If the either the App Version or Build Number is below/under the previous build number - the build will fail.

The App Store Bundle ID (reverse domain identifier) is one of the most important parts of the metadata  This is what you'll use when creating json files for Analytics or issuing certificates.

The Android Bundle ID is used when your app might have a different App Store Bundle ID compared to the IOS store or possibly from a previous app you had before AppPresser.

App Description is very important as this data is used to describe the app on stores or anywhere the description can be used.

Company, Author, Author URL and Email Address are important information the app stores use to list you as the developer of the app and how to get ahold of you.
