Testing Your App on Android and iOS Devices
Testing your AppPresser application is an exciting time. We have made testing very easy. For android builds, it's as simple as clicking a button, waiting for a build to finish and downloading the app to your android device. With iOS, there's a couple more steps, only because Apple requires a few things to be in place and certificates set up.
My AppPresser Dashboard
To get started
- From inside of your MyAppPresser.com dashboard, you'll want to go to your Application Dashboard. Once inside go to the App Customizer > Builds and Preview section.
Inside of the MyAppPresser dashboard you can:
- Rebuild the Application Preview
- Test Devices
- Change the Application Version
- Publish Changes
- Force update workflows and files.
Device Testing and App Stores
- There are several options to choose from on the types of devices you can test on.
- Android Debug
- Android Ad Hoc (Test Social Login)
- iOS Debugging
- iOS Ad Hoc (Test Push Notifications)
- Submit to iOS App Store Connect
- Submit to Google Play
- When you are ready to start device testing, choose one of the available options and click on the "Build App" button. A message will appear showing how long our system thinks it will take to fully build your application preview.
- Once the build is finished, you'll be able to log into your Bitrise account and see your builds.
- With Bitrise, there are different steps needed to test your application per device. Use the links below to see iOS and Android specific articles.
iOS
Testing on iOS devices requires an active subscription, and we must generate your certificates and install them before you can build for iOS.
